Title: Re: Revolutionary Image MakerS Post by: JamesBondo on May 09, 2008, 09:25:26 PM Nice rims dude! Do you think they'll affect your gas milage? man i wish my sunroof was working!!! I love that Gold color... but i like it more on my car! :P
Title: Re: Revolutionary Image MakerS Post by: JusBringIt on May 09, 2008, 10:39:38 PM if you change your rim size, you should do a few mile markers vs odometer to see how much of a difference the size makes in distance traveled. these may be a bit smaller than my winter tires due to the low profile, but nonetheless, they do improve your gas mileage if you do a lot of highway driving or "coasting" this is because it covers more distance (avg 10%) than the stock wheels, this is not directly proportional however due to the fact that heavier/bigger wheels take more energy to turn. Like I said however, if you take advantage of coasting in the city and highway driving, you will almost always benefit from the larger wheels, however it may not show up due to the odo showing less miles than actual miles travelled.
BTW, where IS your car? I don't think I've ever seen it. The gold is nice, it hardly ever "seems" dirty! looks good too! You going anywhere for college? Title: Re: Revolutionary Image MakerS Post by: Anson on May 10, 2008, 01:12:08 PM when you get larger rims you also gotta worry about the speedometer being off "oh sorry officer i thought i was going 65 not 70" a friend of mine had a mustang and took it from the stock 15" rims to 20" rims....and got pulled over going what he thought was "just a little over" ended up being like 8 over what he thought.
