i just had the venge start giving me a Low Rough Idle and sometimes it stalls on me. about 2 days ago.
replaced the plugs, wires, cleaned the intake and just lost on what it could be.
if any one might know.. up for all comments..  i was thinking dis. cap. or maybe crank, or map sensor.
but have never had any problems with car.. has 189K on it and no leaks.
run full syn. oil and tranny fluid. NGK plugs and 8 mm wires.
just need some help to figure out problem. great car til 2 days ago.

I'd seafoam the intake tract ... It might be a dirty Idle Air Controller , or a bad EGR valve

That's what my problem is. Same thing and my EGR is going. Not too bad yet tho. It comes and goes.

so far i've done new plugs, wires, cleaned EGR, and intake.
it's getting fuel but it's like it's not getting enough air and then it shuts off.
i will try a new egr next and clean the air idle control.

it only idles rough and then sometimes cuts off.
but if going down the road it's fine with no problems.

block the EGR and see if it cures the problem

what you mean block ? just un hook the hoses and and plug them ?

Put a penny between the plenum and the EGR tubing coming from the exhaust manifold.

well i'll try the egr thing. see if that works..
just tried the IAC and that wasn't it.
so back to the EGR i guess.
could that make it seem like a misfire at idle speed ?
but it's all new plugs and wires. just replaced those 2 days ago.

well tried all things today so nothing help'd .
pulled injectors and check'd spark all good..
so now i'm down to one other thing.. compression.
think i may have a valve or 2 stuck open.
will figure it out on monday. till then
just wonder on anyone got any idea on
how much work that would be ?

Any luck?  I'm having the same problem as you and took it into my cousins shop to get it fixed, but he's being slow as shyt right now...Wondering if you were able to figure it out so I can head to the garage and work on it myself...

Hey I am kind of having the same thing. I was reading another site, someone changed all the ignition parts and didn't find the problem,  He said the last thing he tried was the cam position sensor and that did the trick.   Also remember to reset your computer, after replacing parts.
