Title: transmission variation Post by: JusBringIt on March 16, 2008, 03:33:03 PM My fiancee has an 01 sebring LX with the 3.0. we went to a reputable transmission shop to get things checked out. From the looks of it, there is a Mitsu transmission. Are there two different types of transmissions or three rather, for the 3.0? Also, this transmission specifies dexron III mercon.
