Hey guys. I have a question:
do you know if an oem exhaust sytem from a 2gn eclipse non turbo{not sure what year is it but its 95-99} will fit my 95 avenger with the 420a/5spd?
The reason I am asking this becuase I was looking to replace my flowmasters 40 muffler with a stock muffler, and I found a guy that is selling 2 things, he is selling a remus muffler for 15 bucks, and it has a 2.25inlet size, and I believe my 97 avenger with the v6 and my 95 avenger with the 420a engine both are 2.25 in inlet size, and he is also selling an oem eclipse exhaust system for 30 dollars with + the stock muffler with the 2.25 inlet size as well.
I most most likely going to get both of these things, but I am not sure if an exuahus system from an eclipse will fit my 95 avenger with the 420a engine/5spd.

alright. i didnt buy the exhaust system but i did buy his stock oem muffler.
i have a question though:
the muffler that i bought, it has only a single pipe, where as my stock mullfer and my current muffler, have dual pipes.
is there going to be any difference having 1 single pipe instead of having 2 pipes like i always had?

If your muffler was stock with 2 outlets, you own a v6 [i can't remember if you do or not]. If only 1 outlet, you own an I4. The only thing that will be changed will be the tone really if you go from the stock 2 pipe to the aftermarket 1 pipe.

Well, change in regards to the negative side effects you were worried about.
