Alright , I did a lil search did not come up with to much but the 3.0 . but i'm pretty sure you can swap the 4cylinder to the 6cylinder. After I had threw this rod out of the car I've been lookin for another engine. I found one but it is the V6 from a 99 venge. if it would work , is there anything extra I need with it. thanks , peace

From I-4 to 3.0 you would pretty much need a whole V-6 parts car.

I concur.  You will need ECM, wiring harnesses, motor mounts, tranny stuff... good times.

its a lot of work but it can be done.

Honestly, I would find another 420A and boost it.  You will get better performance gains.

if you can't find an engine you are not looking at the right place

even a neon dohc engine will do if you put your 420a head and oil pan on it


all of that PLUS a 3.0 engine

well I'm not doin the 3.0 , i'm takin the 2.5 from another venge. I just was not sure what it would take to put the v6 in instead. I just wanna put another engine that will last. no mods , It is going to end up the girlfriends car. I got me a nice lil blazer for now......I just wanna get the venge going again. thanks peace.

Are you aware of the problematic a604 tranny on the V-6?

get a 420a, lot less worries later
