Nice? lol I can say i'm not a fan at all.  They don't handle worth anything (I've driven one) they are only good for a stright line.  I'd go Porshe for handling.  Sides that Vipers are go fast from factory, no thanks, anyone can throw money away and go fast like that.  Not to mention they are more a "status" symbol then anything else.  Build it, don't buy it.

Personally, I love domestics all the way, but for a exotic car, Id go European all the way.  Autobahn anyone?

IMO Viper = overpriced for it's performance

A Vette will smoke a viper for alot less sticker price and more tasteful looks (my opinion)

Hate to burst your bubble but at this point in time only the carrera gt(disontinued) handles better than the Vette or Viper (that prosche makes it also handles better than anything this side of a f 430 scuderia) which the viper kills the zo6 now in all aspects handling, speed, ability to move around a track. The older vipers were nightmares but the SRT10 is actually a VERY good car on the track, only place it falls short is room in the interior and the apperance of the interior besides the seats it looks a little cheap. well it kills it in everything except price you cant get one for under 90k and the vette is nearing 80 with dealer markups due to demand so 10k less you get shitty seats but a very very very capable car. but as it stands now Viper is the American king of cars and hte new ACR will destroy the ZR-1 vette too...(and im a chevy guy :o)

My fav exotic is the lamborgini revention(well sorta theres only like 500 of them they are modled after the f-22 raptor) if not that then the lambo gallardo...i know its not the best handler or the fastest but i love its looks and the sounds that v 10 makes.

i understand u could take that and build a monster, but lets say u get a $30k budget including the cost..to build/buy a monster. what would u get? evo? sti? skyliner? supra? what options would u have? and how much do you think you will end up spending. I wanna see how much u guys really know. :)

if you're referring to the 30k budget that alot of car shows use, they generally get alot of things for free b/c the companies realize it's more effective advertising and efficient marketing than hiring a Marketing consultant.

First off good luck getting an EVO for that much though you can there are few Believe me im shopping for cheap ones for after basic...been riding around in my friends evo and it makes me happy that thing is sweet, i used to not like them now though after a few days in the car im an evo lover.

There is one for sale a the Mitsu dealer less than a mile for my house for $24k.  I will snap a pic today after I test drive it if you want.

I would go Evo, or get a GSX do a six bolt swap and build the hell out of it.  Either way.

how many miles. the ones ive seen have had around 60 to 70k on them for that price? I really would like a 9 but the 8s are good too. Hmm nykon you should get the evo...ditch the eclipse and get that!

they are both mitsu...im pretty sure he could do a nasty build with the eclipse :)

4g63 is superior to pretty much any other mitsu motor though so i would go with that.

Might as well drop a built turbo 4G63 into the chassis of a hatchback Hyundai Excel [93ish] and convert it into an AWD. Not like you won't have the money. lol

every tiburon that's been seen here in Calhoun, has been driven by a bitchy little daddy's girl who thinks that because her dad makes 35k+ a year that she's hot sh!t, OR by some stupid redneck who's heard of a Supra and thinks that a Tiburon is a proper substitute just because it looks *a little* like one.

Give me the Evo FQ400 any day over a Viper.  Faster, better mileage, more dependable I am sure, oh and I can fit a carseat in the back so I can convince my wife its a family car.... oh and 30k less.

look up the 08 viper. the older srt 10 isnt on the same level.

2008 Viper SRT-10: 600hp, 560lb-ft, 1/4mi is 11.6sec, 0-60mph is 3.5 sec, 0-100mph is 7.6 mph, 0-150mph is 17.0sec, top speed is 202mph, it pulled a 1.00g on a 300 ft skidpad It also had the michilin PS2s.
2008 Corvette ZO6: 505hp, 470lb-ft, 1/4mi is 11.7sec, 0-60 is 3.7 sec, 0-100 is 7.7 sec, 0-150 is 17.5 sec, top speed is 198mph, and it pulled a .99 g on the same 300 ft skidpad. it had stickier tires at that with a 87 rating on the front and 94 (tread wear rating the lower the number the softer the compound and the stickier the tire) for the rear comared to the 95 f and 105 r...all y rated... for the viper (though the viper has wider rear tred at 345 to 325 for the vette).

Around Virgina International Raceway the vette posted a 2:58.2 min lap while the new Viper ran a 2:57.4.
And the new Viper is cheaper than the old with better gas milage and while still a crampt cabin its cooler due to new placement of the exhaust instead of running under the cabin it runs straight to the side pipes.

The vette beat the Viper in Car and Drivers test simply cause its easier to deal with on a everyday basis, on the track though they prefer the viper.
