Im getting 2 12in alpine type r subs, Im still undecided on the amp... alpine doesnt have any amps that i really like, my local best buy has a nice 1500w sony amp im kinda leaning towards, I dunno if that would be enough wattage or not, im still undecided Title: Re: Speaker Suggestion Post by: Darktengu on November 18, 2007, 08:31:47 AM Amps MRD-M500 one for each sub, they will pound.
You can get 6.5 R-Types for 120 on eBay for the set, and 6x9s for 94.95 Be a man. 8) Title: Re: Speaker Suggestion Post by: Antony on November 22, 2007, 03:57:17 AM Lol ight... and Bose makes good tweeters right?

Title: Re: Speaker Suggestion Post by: Jim on January 10, 2008, 01:02:57 AM I put in Memphis PR series up front and it was a huge difference in clarity over stock. PR is a mid range line from Memphis so they dont need HUGE power to run but can handle an after market amp, or so I am told.
