Title: Bad Vendor: carpartswholesale
Post by: Bad Venge on November 09, 2007, 11:07:03 PM
Bad Ebay vendor has really low prices on buy it now item , you buy it now then won't sell it now... They demand additional payment
I bought a K&N intake for $16 +$34 shipping they email me to call customer service , They state the listing was in error if I want the part I owe $145.26... or they will cancel the auction
I have found tons of others scammed by them EBAY doesn't seem to care ...

I know eBay and Paypal are joint but when I had an issue with an eBay seller I went to Paypal and they took care of it quickly.

I hear you, but I don't think they'll force him to give the product, it's one of those product or refund and you'll get a refund.  Unfortunately you can't just drive over there and get the part in person.

Technically ebay CAN force them ... it is a legally binding contract ... they advertised it as buy it now ,I bought it and paid for it , they refuse to ship it ...
I have to wait ten days to fill item not recieved claim

I have had good success using Ebays security process. You have more power than you know. If it is an offshore vendor they have no choice but to comply with ebays request. They need access to it to make money.

JUst start clikcking through the reporting process until you find a heading that is close and write em up.

Good luck  Hopefully you'll get the intake and eBay doesn't forget it.

Ebay refuses to do anything as the vendor will not email you, they do everything from the 800# (they know ebay will not act without email they consider phone "private")... They refuse to ship the part, and are refunding my money I filed with square trade but they refuse to mediation so guess I'm not getting it ...
