Here's the deal guys, Exile Racing Technologies has had my vehicle in their posession since May 28, 2006.  Yes almost a year, now it's not bad enough that they have had my car this long to rebuild a motor, install a stand-a-lone, and make some aluminum piping for the turbo, but what's even worse is I haven't heard from them in over 2 months again.  Since May 28th, I have called them probably a hundred times, in which about 6 times they have actually returned my phone calls or emails.  The last phone call I got about my car was from the Wauconda Police Dept. letting me know they found my car abandoned outside of a local business in their city.  Well I informed them that business is the same one that is supposed to be working on my car, so not to worry about it, but it's been almost 6 weeks since I got that phone call.  I gave them $5500 up front for everything to be done on my car and they don't even have the courtesy of keeping in touch with me about my car.  I am almost convinced now that the damn thing is parted out and spread across the 48 contiguous states and maybe parts of Canada.  What do I do know?

go to the news stations they might be able to track this thing down and shed some light on the problem since apparently Exile has been taking money for a while and not giving a service in return but grand theft will deff make a splash. if that doesnt work well sorry to say you may have lost a car and 5 grand.

so what you're telling me is I'm not the only one getting f'ed?

What he's saying is that Exile has been experiencing lapses in customer service and you are not the only one affected by it.

I'd say aside of what happened that i'm glad you posted cuz now we know it'd prolly not be best to get anything from Exile

that sucks cause they realy do have some great stuff for the 2.5 platform that you cant get anywhere else

Call the cops back and report the car stolen. File a police report for the $5500, theft. That's the only thing you can do unless they are still operating at the shop. Have you gone there personally? If they are there, bring a lawyer or the cops with you. You did get a receipt for the money, right?

the only receipt I have for the money is the copy of the check from the bank .. Nothing from them at all, that's what I get for trusting them I guess .. I had brought my car to them a number of times and never had any problems so I never even thought that that could happen ..

No one did really. Probably not even ERT. if it hadn't have been for the warehouse fire, i have a feeling ERT would still be in [good] business today.

I never dealt with ERT and never would. The only reliable Avenger/Sebring parts supplier and shop is disturbing motorsports. hands down.

and as far as i know, they never had a shop fire either. steve's car got pretty burnt up once while he was out driving it but thats all that i know of
