Title: drop Post by: 350degreeZ on December 15, 2005, 09:11:53 AM Alright im going with the TC2 kit but I wanna lower the car before I get it installed. How much of a drop can I get without having to worry about my car being too low when I finally do get ready for install? Of course I know it'd be smarter to install first and then lower but the wheel gap is just driving me nuts >:(
Title: Re: drop Post by: Boost Creep on December 15, 2005, 01:18:13 PM tc2's aren't that low. drop it with whatever. you'll be fine
Title: Re: drop Post by: clake0000 on December 15, 2005, 07:54:22 PM I imagine you'll learn to drive fine with whatever springs you put on there. It doesn't take long to figure out exactly what obstacles (speedbumps, rocks, potholes, etc) your car can safely roll over.
Title: Re: drop Post by: Bad Venge on December 15, 2005, 10:09:43 PM TC2 is about 2" lower then the stock nose ....so measure down 2" And THEN see how much lower you can go and drive safely ...
Title: Re: drop Post by: Venge on December 16, 2005, 01:57:50 AM TC II's aren't bad at all, you just have to learn how to hit everything at an angle.
Title: Re: drop Post by: Ch3rry on December 16, 2005, 05:26:21 PM Get a urethane Tc2.
Title: Re: drop Post by: E-Rock on December 16, 2005, 09:34:08 PM Get a urethane Tc2. Ohh yeah Definetly get a Urethane front. It'll save you money in the long run. Plus my cars about 2.5" to 3" lowered and I have no problems with my TC2 just the roads. Title: Re: drop Post by: john97es on December 19, 2005, 08:10:51 PM yeah im dropped far with a tc2 front
you'll learn how to drive with it, like what you can and cant get over, quickly Title: Re: drop Post by: Spazz on December 23, 2005, 11:38:52 PM it just sucks to jack the car up with the side skirts >:(
Title: Re: drop Post by: Tig on January 03, 2006, 04:35:14 PM it just sucks to jack the car up with the side skirts >:( love the purple! i have to jack my car up just to jack it up. i got an aluminum wedge from pep boys or where ever. roll up on that, then use the factory jack to lift it up enough to push the floor jack under it. works for me. kinda a pain in the ass, but it works. :)
