Title: rim and tire sizes Post by: Spazz on December 14, 2005, 01:43:06 AM hello- i was just wondering if anyone knew what is the largest size of rims and tires you can put on a 95 avenger. i have done a lot of mods to my car already and i do have a set of rims on there now, but they are only 17's and i would like to get new rims, but i want to get the biggest size possible so it fits in the wheel well nice.

Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Bad Venge on December 14, 2005, 10:58:51 PM 20's will NOT fit without at LEAST rolling the fenders >:(

Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: TheBringer on December 15, 2005, 05:35:37 PM I don't see anything on their site for the 7 wheels that come up when searching for 20in for a venge. I highly doubt that they will guarantee fitment in the wheel well without rolling the fenders. Their fitment guarantee only extends to the bolt pattern I believe.
Example: You order 22s for a mini.........no way they are going to fit without modification. They can't guarantee that you will order the right size for the application. Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Venge on December 16, 2005, 01:59:32 AM 18 x 8 is the way to go...
Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Spazz on December 16, 2005, 03:19:49 AM alright thanks, i was figuring 18's i just wasnt sure cause someone did tell me once you could fit 20's, but i thought you'd have to mod it for sure to fit. what size tires go with that if you get 18x8's????
Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Ch3rry on December 16, 2005, 05:23:39 PM I have 19x7.5 with 225/35 tires. They fit nicely and i dont think they look "sloppy"

Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Ch3rry on December 24, 2005, 08:16:55 AM Nope, not at all. Doesnt even rub when I go over the railroad tracks at 60. :D
The overall diameter doesnt change a whole lot when you have 35 series tires. Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: BlackES Night on December 28, 2005, 05:10:21 AM I got Motegi FF7's that are 17's. They look like 16's but i think thats because of the all weather tires I got. Look ok, but i need to lower the car. Upgrade to 18's then too.
Title: Re: rim and tire sizes Post by: Tig on January 03, 2006, 04:31:53 PM be careful with the 35 series tires though. there's not much rubber there and you can very easily bend a rim going over a small bump or whatever. plus its hard to tell when they have low psi.
i run 18" chrome motegi mr7's with 225/35/18 nitto's. i like em, but kinda wish i had 19's.
