Title: ScanPod Post by: Devin on December 12, 2005, 05:26:31 PM Ok, i got this ScanPod, which is suppose to look like a anti theft deterrant light....it gives me 3 wires:
Black: GROUND RED: (Constant Power) Yellow: Connection to something that cuts off w/the ignition Since there is no radio fuse in the fuse box under the dash, can i use the amp relay? AND which fuse is "constant power" ANY Help would be greatly appreciated -d Title: Re: ScanPod Post by: 350degreeZ on December 12, 2005, 07:37:57 PM try running the red wire into the cigarette lighter fuse and the yellow into the anti-theft, once u've done that sit in the car and lock the doors. it should work once the security light goes off. not sure if ur's is like the one i used to have but it worked for me
Title: Re: ScanPod Post by: Devin on December 12, 2005, 08:07:32 PM Ok, but the problem with that is when i got my REMOTE START installed, the lil "security" light doesn't come on anymore....any other suggestions?

Title: Re: ScanPod Post by: Devin on December 12, 2005, 08:29:34 PM HAH, that's a good question, i'll check it out when i get home from work....b/c as soon as i got home i tried it out, and it didn't work....but i'll definatly check that one out when i get home.............but if that DOESN'T work, is there another one that i could hook it up to?
Title: Re: ScanPod Post by: 350degreeZ on December 12, 2005, 08:36:28 PM there's plenty of ways to power it, especially if it comes with the on/off button, just depends on where at in the car you're trying to place it.
Title: Re: ScanPod Post by: Devin on December 12, 2005, 08:46:13 PM Hmm, mine didn't come with an ON/OFF switch...here's the one i have.
