Ok this is a clarification.  The Post-Whore free thread about the ASOG meet at Carlisle.  Just add your name to the list (copy the list before you.  If we're all going to stay at the same place, we should pick a hotel.  Ride arrangements and such.  I will have room for one person in my car.

sounds like a plan to me.  now as of now i am going but in the last few days some things happened and i may be able to get a shop real soon and if that happens im movin to arizona.  but thats another story, ill keep you all updated on that in another thread if all goes well.  now tv98 and jbi, if you wanna map it out i honestly think that meeting at my house then drivin to carlisle would be the most logical option. but if you wanna figure somethin else out we have lots of time

I'm still planning on going, but I'm also trying VERY hard lately to get a Cop job.  That takes priority.  I will tell any job I get that I need off that week/weekend.  But if they don't give it to me I'll be out.  (Or I'll call in sick LOL)

I will probably do that.  My plans were to get all the mods I want this summer put on over June, then show 'em off.  So I will definitely bring my venge.  From where I live it's pretty much two interstates and a few highways.  I-70 for probably 80 percent of the way.

Yea its the same thing for me i think... all i have to do is jump on 70, which is right next to my house, then take that to 76? er something like that, and thats just about it

I used to organize and babysit those carlisle meets way back when... back when ASOG was getting the most attendance there.  Too busy and such now a days.

Alright this is the current list (I took Emily off because she won't be going, nothing serious she just can't make it).

Is everyone on here still going?  If Nykon can't go, I won't be able too either.  Unless I get someone else I trust to go with (I just lost my license due to a clerical mistake hopefully it'll get fixed soon and it's just a long way to drive alone)

So if you want to fly in to Green Bay, or Milwaukee/Chicago and go with me let me know.  You MUST be legally able to drive, and I have to have some kind of trust with you since my cars total is at 20,000 (Excel spread sheet that I've had since I bought the car and everything for it.)

Sorry man, pending a miracle (you know somebody dropping a buttload of money on me and giving me a sober assistant manager at work) I am not going to be able to make it.


I am still going to try to find a way but at this point its a no for me.

We should figure out driving plans.  Are people going to stop along the way and sleep or just drive straight through?  If stopping along the way, I have plenty of room at my house.

I'll be taking 43 to 90 and 80 to 76 until Carlisle.

Post up where you're coming from, and which Interstate you're using so we can try to get some kind of organization.

i cant believe its getting so close to the deadline. im still in as of NOW but... the way my career is setting off with the tv show and all... and the fact that i might be in the police accademy at the time might change that. and as of now im very very tight for money, the body on my car looks worse than i ever wanted it to get and i can almost garentee that my trannny might go soon.. this is the roughest time of my life but also the best. i hope you guys can understand what i meen by all of this. ill keep everyone updated. also i need you guys to put your mehtod of trans., and you city and state next to your names. like i said its getting close fast so the planning starts asap. also dt i dont know if you trust me but IF i have the funds by time this happens ill be willing to fly out there. and what happened with your license??

whats your location?? and i forogt to add one more thing... obviously some ppl are going to be meeting in different states on the way, everyone has to be on the same page and we need routes maped out. departure times, eta's, meeting times. everything plays a factor

It'll take me 13.5 hours of straight driving.  I'll probably leave Wednesday night/Thursday EARLY morning.  So I'll get out there Thursday and sleep a bit, then go out meet whoever is around (that didn't meet up along the route.  We can meet up at spots along the way.  I'm going to try and steal Emily's laptop.  When it gets closer to the meet time I'll give my number to everyone.  If there are people all along the route we should have meeting places along the way.

Anyone planning on being near Green Bay, that's going to stop here?

Oh and I want to hit the Transformers movie sometime during the weekend  ;)

I'll be leaving Chicagoland Thursday morning around 8-9am, stopping overnight in Elyria, OH outside Cleveland/Akron, and then arriving in Carlisle around 10-11am on Friday. Meeting a few people along the way.

I used to do the 13-hour all-night run from 9pm Thursday to 11am Friday. I'm too old for that crap now.

Maybe we'll meet up somewhere in the Chitown area and then leave you in Ohio!

Someone that's good with computers should map all this out.  I am not good with that stuff.

What is the Carlisle meet? Is it just the Avenger/Sebring or anything? I wonder if I can get my venge done if i'll be able to take it and sell it, I'd like to get 4K out of it if I can, seeing how I just put close to 3 in it. Someone lemme know, I live in Tiffin, Ohio, about 20mi South of 80/90 turnpike. It'd be nice to take the body kit to try to sell. For $200 i would think it would go fast.

Most of those pictures on that thread are pictures from the party we are looking for actual event pictures.

Wouldn't that kinda be like asking a photographer for Hustler to photograph Nopi and expect shots of the cars?  ;)

There werent many Avengers or Sebrings there. Nor were there many pics taken of our cars at the show. There were some taken at the hotel. Where were you ASOG people? I dont think I met anyone from ASOG, just the ASEC peeps that I know and a few that I didnt.

Well I dropped over 8 grand in motor work to get ready for it, but after 500 miles I ended up with chunks of aluminum impacted into the head.

I bought a load of stuff for my bring about 2-3 months before carlisle in hope to all be done by the time.. but still havent even recieved half the stuff.  :-\

I would love to go...if my car is done ::)
