Post by: Bobby on November 30, 2005, 01:48:33 AM
Has anybody bought the ss headers or anything through 818 customs?  I have been talking to a guy named ofek and he said the run about 600-700 for a set and that he would need about 450 down, i just want to know if anyone has bought anything through this company becase that is alot of money to lose if it is a hoax, so if anyone know anything please post, thanks

only headers for the 2.5 I know of are the Xerd ones (which many people had problems with the company) or the Xir headers which I think are just Xerds new company name. Not completely sure, Igemini on ASEC had a group buy a while back for them.

Be cautious.

I'd like to hear more feedback on this. I just grabbed a 98 Avenger ES 2.5 V6 as my daily car. This was a bump up from my 92 Acura Integra in terms of base performance. However, I'm just not feeling as plastered to the seat since I'm running stock parts in this car. I'm also finding it a challange to get some headers for the car. I was going to start off simple: Cold air intake, headers, new cat and pipes, and see what it needs from there. Any help is appreciated.

The Acura started around 135 and ended up at around 185 horse. I believe the 2.5 avengers only get 165 hp stock. I'd like to get that up and over 200. Last thing I want to do is an engine swap, though. I've found a few places that sound just as shady, and XIRacing doesn't have the 2.5 venge headers in their catalog. I suppose I could call, but I'm also lazy.
