I love your car Dave, but I think clear would look better, or maybe get some of that spray on tint, and give them a hint of blue.  That would match great.

LOL Yeah the Vette will (hopefully) always be a good car.  And if the Camaro is going to come out like the concept.  That'll be a mean machine on the streets again.

Yes I agree about the Camaro. I was skeptical when I saw the first pics, but when I actually saw it in person, I loved it. If I can remember, I'll upload some pics from the Detroit show.

Loni from Beaver Dam, WI... I used to be on here when I had the Avenger..  I had a 5spd and sold it.. problem is I want another avenger SO friggin bad but I can't find another 5spd and I dont think I can handle another auto (my first avenger i had)  The search continues!  :P

I remember your screen name!  What are you driving now?  Also there is a guy up by me that has a venge 5 spd for 2 or 3k I"m not good friends with him or anything, I just remember seeing it when I drove past.  Don't know any of the details other than it's black, stock rims, ridiculous muffler, tint all around, and it's a manual.  I stopped and looked at it because my brother was interested.

Anyway there isn't enough info on your car on that site.  What's all done to it?

the car club has been around for about 5 years now. i am the co-pres. about my car,its fully shaved, including taillights with molded in 1959 cadillac taillights, frenched antenna, air ride suspension, which is getting changed this winter to lay 2 inches lower than it does now. all smoothed and fiberglassed interior(black\grey). no motor mods except intake plugs and wires. 18" konig unknowns, soon 20's in rear. tc sportline cowl hood with pins.

and oh yeah there is another group in the midwest called balistik-ak (auto koncepts) not affiliated with us in any way. the pres got on our message board and threatened to sue for copyright infringement when he is not even copyrighted, and besides he uses auto koncepts in his name. completely diff. however we r copyrighted and he would of been in for a rude awakening if he tried suing. sorry sore subject, pisses me off. also if im not mistakin the guy drives a teal avenger

I don't even know where I would've heard of the club(s) but the name just rang a bell.  You should copyright the name just to piss him off even more.

I have never met or seen another Avenger/Sebring tuner.  No one in this state works on one of these cars, but me.... :(

I'd be happy about it.  You can confuse everyone by removing the badges.  They won't know what your driving.

That is exactly what I'm doing!  ;D When I get it repainted next spring it won't say Dodge anywhere on it.  Fill in my ram in the bumper too.  Even when I replace my vinyl windshield brow it won't say Dodge anymore......but I still thinking of it to say "Avenger" on the back..... not sure.  Cut out cross section in bumper & fill in the holes (from the cuts) w/ fiberglass, remove the side molding.  I'm doing a '96-97 conversion right now. When I get done it won't at all look like the same car, or an Avenger.

I haven't got very far yet, all I've done is replace the hood and spoiler so far.  When I get done and get pics I will try to post them.  I'm also doing a rear-end conversion if possible. My deadline I've set is in April to get it repainted, so things are moving slowly.  When it is repainted that's the last thing on the outside. In the meantime, I am a bit strapped-for-cash.

Put up before and after, it's cool to see the difference and the progression if you put up the during photos.

im still here... :D my car hates me because the FS Plant behind were i work sprayed theyre tanks white and my car along with all the other highway department people got a lot of over spray... i got 120 from the painters insurance company.... i didn't even mess with it... im just going to save the rest of my deductible.. and turn it into my insurance and get my car painted...

other than that <3 Lol

The paint thing bites.  They should pay more.  So are you going to get a whole new paint job or just get a touch up done?

Probably just touch ups but who knows when i turn it into my insurance they might give me a dollar or a penny...

I hear that, you have to get an adjuster on the phone.  Talk to him and get him to understand you need the dollar.
