What was actually wrong with yours? I just checked mine and the seemed ok.... They swivel back and forth in what I think to be a normal way.
I was asking this on an old thread because some people always complain and tell you to search first, but I guess you get better answers by starting your own thread... Now about that stabilizer link rod- what was wrong with yours? ex: broken in half, loose, or no apparent damage- mostly internal ...... I want to eliminate as many things as possible before bringing her to the garage. I know its not ball joints(I did the 12-6 oclock trick), it might be tie rod end- the bushing seems to be loose.

I found out the problem is an inner tie rod. So, how much does one cost( I do not need the highest quality). Is installation difficult? Is there a how-to? I will get it aligned afterwards but if Im able to change the part myself, I will.

for a TRW one, you're looking at around $30. and they aren't easy. unless you have a full 2 days to devote in case it gets to be something that is rusted stuck, i wouldn't mess with it. Save the headache for the mechanic. But you have to get it aligned after the work is done. No If, ands, or buts.
