My neighbor has a problem with the battery in her European version Sebring and often needs a jump start. I was going to change the battery for her but noticed that it only has terminals under the hood and I have no idea where the battery is located. Possibly in the fender or in the trunk as well as under the rear seat? I am not sure. Its a 2001/2002 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.0L motor which looks identical to the USA Neon motor (420A) where the intake is plastic and facing/closest to the front of the car.
She did mention a gel battery but she was not sure and I did not want to start tampering with her car.
Are all of the Sebrings configured that way in the US?? Anyone know where the battery is mounted and how long it will take to remove and replace?
Thanks in advance for your help.
