I just got back from my work trip. While I was gone I spoke to a guy that can possibly make them for me. He is a machinist that does specialty welding & fabrication. He says making headers wouldn't be hard, so I just need to get a stock manifold for a pattern for him and negotiate a price. I will also bring him all my pics of headers made currently, so he has a good idea exactly how they should look. As soon as I find anything out about that I will post it.
Im tellin u guys 1 guy might not make a difference but just wait till like spring/summer hard as it may be and im in.. i got a couple friends with sebrings i could prolly get in too... I'd tell them about it now but i dont want their cars to be faster than mine

I may just have to talk to this guy in Arkansas 'bout it, he said headers would be easy if, I had a stock manifold pattern. That won't happen for a while though, I have a few other projects to work on, and I will have to supply the flex sections. Maybe I'll do the header thing this summer, by that time I "should" have all my "problems" worked out.
only reason i ask is cause they would make a great pattern. i'm really surprised they didn't go for more than that. i guess we'll see what comes of it, but those are probably the best starting point to a group buy, or at least a few copies of some dyno tested headers.
That is exactly why I wanted them; to use them as a pattern. If this guy in Arkansas can do it, I'd have no idea of the dyno of it. I'd have to give him a stock manifold & downpipe to use as a pattern, along with all the pictures of headers I have.
BTW, if we can get headers made by anybody, no matter who, are you guys "in", if I can get them made?
Yes it was someone from here, but i don't want to squeel on the them if they don't want to brag about it. I assure you it wasn't me. If it were me, I'd tell you guys, then start looking for someone to replicate them.
was it someone from here? well, from what i heard it would be expensive to get them replicated...closest place was like really far away...o well. i know who got them, if u read general discussion it wouldnt be too hard to find out who did.
i am in on buying any header that will give me a boost in performance i just want something that will breather way better i am will ing to give up my stock mani if you can get them made! I live in north carolina so if you cna give me the number of the guy and the piocture of what you want as far as looks and model, i can probably send him my mani and get them made. Do yu have a pirce range?
