My roommate has a Stealth R/T, for those that are unfamiliar, that's a twin turbo, AWD and AWS (all wheel steering).  Last night we all went bowling as usual.  I went home to work on a friend's car, and the rest went out to Perkins.  They all came back from Perkins and decide to go dick around in the fresh new snow.  Well even before he dicked around, he was just taking a simple right turn, but it was all ice.  So he slid right up a curb into a tree.  They didn't do much damage to the tree, but they did bust the front body to hell (bumper cover, fenders hood, and windshield).  He set the air bags off, which pissed him off because he said he wasn't going fast, and he didn't even need them.  He hardly moved forward when it hit.  Well he figured no damage to the tree, he'd just come home.  Well that didn't work out too well.  At 7:30 this morning a Sheriff's Deputy pulled up and saw the car.  He also had pieces from around the tree.  And those pieces matched his car.  So far it's a shiity Christmas start for Roy.

Yeah, I think that was the problem, he thought that AWD and AWS meant snow and Ice don't matter.  Well lesson learned.  6500 lesson.

Ah, nothing too nice!  Actually considering everything.  The cop was pretty good about it.  Roy got two tickets together they are less than 400 bucks.
