I hate bills

I was paying bills today, and I accidently paid over a hundred dollars to the wrong thing.

I moved over a year ago and have been using online to pay my electric/heating bill. The problem is that WPS (my electric company) hasn't removed my old address. So when I made a payment, it went to my old addresses account. I called them as soon as I noticed the mix up. But it's still a pain.

I'm gonna learn from your mistake! I just closed on a new house on Friday....so when I switch the utilities I'm gonna make sure to switch the account too Grin

I had a similar situation with the electric/gas company. I had been paying the bill of the vacant apartment across the hall. The bill was REALLY cheap, so I just assumed that the apartment was energy efficient. That was until a power outage occurred, and everything was switched back....along with a $500 back charge. OUCH.

they are probably those things like we get in the mail and just immediately throw in the trash cuz we know we can't pay em. lol!
