i have these suspension technique springs for the avenger v6 and they dropped my car over 3" i need someone that can verify or dispute these measurements:
i need to make sure these are the wrong springs and not some other mechanical bull poop. they made my car settle over 3 inches which is more than double the drop it's supposed to do. the st company is giving me the runaround and i need to confirm these springs are the wrong ones. so if someone could measure theirs then i'd be able to determine it was definately the springs that are off , not anything else on the car.

Considering your purchase source, check with ST on if they have an official distributor THERE. If they say "no" go after the "distributor" that sold them to you. Don't let ST know that you have a bad set. And have them send you an official email stating their answer so that you can use that as proof.
that sux dude. sorry i can't help, but i'm looking to lower my car soon, and was thinking about using ST springs, so keep us updated on all of this. don't wanna get into something i don't wanna get into (that was a weird sentence )
i'd do what Shiano suggested. sounds like the best way to go

the funny thing is the guy on ebay i got them from appears to be an online distributor for st, kyb, eibach, etc, all which are parts that the sus tech warehouse sells. of course they could deny it, but every company that offers suspension tech springs does not have them in stock. they all basically take your order and have the springs shipped directly from suspension tech warehouse, which means my springs came from there.
OK..... ST sent me spec sheets for the v6 springs. they're supposed to have 10.5 coils in front and 7.5 in the rear. my fronts only have 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear! the inner diameters are the same, so that tells me these are 4cylinder eclipse springs. they are shipping me the right ones. i had to call them 6 times, talked to 3 different people for 2 days, email, and fax them. they never even called my mechanic like they said they would. so finally my car will be able to get aligned. I do have a set of goldline eclipse springs (4cylinder 2.0" drop) for sale for 60 bucks shipped brand new in box with decals . seems lately i have to become the customer from hell just to get justice ... example, insurance company totalling my car, cable company ripping me off, etc. they just called back and i'll have them in a couple days, and I reminded them to check the spring specification before shipping them out. I could tell by the employee's voice he was pissed because when i called today i asked for a manager, and the guy who answered was the guy i dealt with yesterday, and he told me he was the manager, and i told him bullshit cause i asked for service rep. earlier and got him. he was trying to cover his tracks so i wouldnt get his ass fired. I win scumbags
glad to hear you got it all worked out. it sux you gotta be an arsehole to make big corps listen to ya and get what you pay for, but that's how it goes i guess. ah well, at least you got your stuff straightened out. nice move on the service rep! serves him right! whatta loser.
