ok.... how about this setup?
« on: February 06, 2007, 06:55:17 PM »

just ordered the kyb agx set, matched with suspension techniques (1.3") and ingalls front and rear camber kit. couple questions for those of you that have this same setup...

1) what setting will provide the be as stiff or not as stiff as stock setup?
2) will different settings on the struts reduce the life of them?
3) how long do you think the struts will last with this setup?
4) is it better to have a stiff strut setting with lowering springs or a looser setup? maybe in the middle?

anyone with this setup, please explain the pros, the cons, and how long you've had em. i looked at reviews for the agx's and all the honda guys said the struts suck and blew in less than a year. but some people on here had em for over 3 years with no problems? i just want to do it right once. it's bad enough i first bought goldline eclipse springs and gr-2's...  opinions on here are HIGHLY appreciated. you guys rock.

I've been running the same set up since 98 (on and off) ... The struts have been GREAT ... They only blow with extreme drops and coilovers ....

Settings are like underwear it's PERSONAL preference ... I'm full stiff in the front and 2 from stiffest in the rear ...
BEST way to set is start in the middle , then drive a week , then try stiffer then go softer ... You'll figure it out pretty quick

I'm running stiffest on both and it's fine.  Check my AGX question (thread started by me) someone posted up KYBs specs on the stiff levels.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

I'm hoping to get some new suspension this year also. Keep us posted on yours (pros/cons). Any advice I/we can get from ppl with experience is gratefully appreciated.
