times to remove the christmas party poll

and to propose something for the end of the summer I want to make my annual summer weekend in Ontario

ideas that I pitch
a night in town in a Korean BBQ restaurant
a big outdoor corn roast
a sunday afternoon in an amusement park (marine land ??)

anything else ?

anyone ?

We will be moving into our next new house near the end of Aug so maybe we should try:
Aug 5-6
Aug 12-13
Aug 19-20 (cutting it really close for us and the theatre will be taken down so we would prefer not that weekend.)

*Corn Roast won't work since no one has the property for it really
*There are some oriental restaurants around, but we don't go to Korean ones so I don't know what's around.
*Amusement parks.. there is one not far from here sorta. There are some go-cart outside tracks as well as mini golf and we have a Dave and Busters type of place. We also have the playstation, movies and the big screen which would be free and you can BYO beer or what not.. which would be cheaper...lol.

12-13 may be good for me and my usual co driver Marc

I'm working on a huge american movie and august 11 is supposed to be my last day
but things changes every week since day 1, just like today I was supposed to be off and I have to go do a 12 hours from 5 pm to 6 am I learned that yesterday

one thing I really want to try, because we don't have them in quebec, is a real korean bbq, they put a grill right on your table and brings you raw food to cook yourself usually it,s all you can eat
but we could find one in toronto on our way back home

There are some Japenese places that do that. I think Rob might know, so I can ask him next time I talk to them. This might be a problem for Dave since he is allergic to seafood and they tend to use seafood in their cooking. He's ok with fish, just no shellfish.

Keep us posted on if there is an over run on the set.

this will probably have to go in september
the last i heard friday night was that the shoot is extended for 2 more weeks
I'm working on the second unit and the main unit is overloaded and they want to dump some of their works on us

I will know more in a few days

about the movie: the tittle is "journey to the center of the earth" a modern adaptation of the Jules Vernes novel
it stars Brendan Fraser
the movie is done in High Definition video instead of film and it's in 3D
the technology that we are using belongs to James Cameron
and my supervisor is the guy who was the HD video engineer on Star Wars episode II and III

That sounds cool. Whats the release date they are talking about?

We can do the meet in September as well. We just have to contact the "ole" gang and let them know...lol.

worker day's weekend would be nice since it's a 3 day weekend

the movie is supposed to be release in summer 2007 but we could expect a spring release
