The front left wheel of the 1999 Dodge Avenger crashed into a 6-8 inch curb while taking a left turn at high speed (20-30mph). It hit with such force that the steel wheel dented and needed to be replaced. The tire was put back on the new steel wheel. Ever since the crash, the car pulls heavily to the left when driving. When the left and right front wheels are switched, the pull is not nearly as apparent, but is definitely still there. It is already known that the crashed wheel needs to be replaced. A "grinding" or "rubbing" noise of what sounds like one metal component to another can be heard and almost felt coming from under the left side of the car when going in excess of 55mph. This grinding/rubbing noise can only be described as a "pulsating" type and will "pulse" faster when going higher speeds, slower at slower speeds. This sound usually gets louder when the gas pedal is not pressed and the car is cruising/slowing down.

Things that are not the problem:
Alignment (checked by professionals)
Brakes/Rotors (checked by professionals)
This may or may not be related: A few times when going through drive through windows, I could hear a "creaking" noise coming from the front of the car. It sounds almost exactly like a door creaking.
