Hey, I'm getting ready to sell my 98 Lxi (got a new SRT8)...and the speakers in both doors are blown.  Since everything else is OE, and I'm not marketing to an audiophile...what can I put in as replacements that doesn't cost a lot, but won't make me feel like I'm ripping off the next owner?  As in...good enough for the average commuter to listen to his favorite morning show on the radio while stuck in rush hour traffic.  Thanks!

Sure...used OE works for me!  I dunno what model year you've got, does the size vary from year to year?

Nice sig, by the way...I had one try to man up to my SRT8 the other day...I was thinking "maybe if I was driving a base model (300), your fart can might impress me.  On second though, nah"  I didn't take the bait...instead, I threw a rev, he looked at my OE wheels (they say SRT on one spoke), then noticed the badge on the side of the car, and shut down.  Friggin twinkie ricer!  Not worth the gas...

what year is you car? i don't think the speaker size changes. the ones in mine are 6.5" i think they are the same.

mine's a 98...6.5, huh....cool.  I'm actually going to do the work two weeks from today, but I'll be on vacation (and thus away from the house) for 10 days starting thursday...so I guess I'll have to walk in somewhere and buy something off the shelf...blech, I hate paying retail.
