From edmunds.com, I came up with these numbers on the 2.0 DOHC Avenger ES:

140 hp @ 6000 rpm
130 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm

These numbers are measured at the crank.

I have heard that the stock intake on the 420a is very restrictive, so a CAI will be a good benefit. Obviously it gets better with the exhaust, but I really don't know the numbers. I'm sure someone in here will though.

Yea i was a sucker and bought one sometime ago, no they dont work, however my buddy with a avenger got a chip module and said it worked, i didnt believe so i bought one (they are cheap) and it isnt just the fact that it makes your throttle more sensitive, i actually had better 0-60 time. so some work. Same with the electric turbos, most dont push anything but i bought and eram and put it next to the trottle body and works like a charm

This 20+ chip... where does it go??? I don't get it, we are OBDII... you can't just add a chip... is it supposed to be a power programmer??  Just curious, I have never heard of such a thing... I suppose I could do a search.

As far as electric turbo's or anything of the like, refer to this link please

THE 20+ CHIP OR RESISTOR WENT BEHIND MY MASS AIR FLOW SENCOR AND ITS A PLUG AND PLAY APPLACTION BUT I KINA NOTCED A LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN MY RESPONCE. AND AS FAR AS THE ELECTRIC TURBOS GO I THINK IF YOU ARE THAT SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU WOULD SAVE UP A LIL BIT MORE MONEY AND GET THE REAL THING. THE REALL TURBOS ALL READY WORK AND PROVEN RIGHT

ah... ok I remember hearing about those... I believe it made enough of a difference for a day to be noticable and then the computer would adjust it out so it would then become useless.  I swear I read something about it on the old ASOG site.  I have been edumacated.

AND SERIOUSLY MAN, NO NEED TO YELL.  Oops, caps was stuck on again.

well...you have to go over board..it's something I did myself..its like a CAI, which would help you out a lot, but it'z got a kick to it. I say just do a CAI, I basically took my car apart and now putting it back together..
